Bought for my Raptor 660. It looks identical and just assembles. I didn't run it as it came in for a perfect rating, but I made a few mods based on other reviews that seemed to work great. I didn't have any metal shavings inside as some have reported, but I did have a major problem with the choke. Using small pliers with long needles, it took some time to pull the plunger out to connect the choke cable. I installed the dynamometer kit right away so I knew what injectors were in it. I also used the original slides based on other reviews and transferred the new bezels to the old slides. I followed the instructions on the dyno to make sure all the settings are correct as I wasn't sure about the factory settings. Then I installed the carburetor and it caught fire after there was fuel in the bowls. I have an issue that I have narrowed down to a throttle body. After I took the choke piston out and put it back in place with some lube, it's still very tight and doesn't move freely. This fails in the midrange because I don't think the choke is fully closed. I'll take care of it, some polishing later. I recommend this carburetor with the mentioned mods. Sorry I can't tell you what it was like out of the box, but I had to reset it anyway.
