For what I need it serves its purpose. My toilet is in the hallway to the kitchen and the door is always in the way and I don't like it when it's closed. My door isn't strong (so I don't think it's strong enough for a solid heavy door) so it's not a heavy door. I used it for a magnet to hold it open. I got tired of pinching the door every time I wanted to close it, but due to the gap between the floor and the door, the magnet doesn't really start until it's at the back of the floor panel, so when the door is under heavy pressure the handle hits my wall and can damage my wall (so I put a felt pad on it). I wish it had a stronger magnet, I think that would make it perfect.
