It's not clear that your door needs to be a certain distance from the floor. In my case the door is 1/2 inch below the floor making this product unusable. The maximum height should be clearly marked, but it isn't.

Looks nice, fits well but the only thing you need to be aware of is the distance between the stopper and the magnet that pulls it up. I had to use both adhesive backings to get it high enough on the floor for it to activate the magnet, it works great.

When we bought our house, almost all the walls in front of the doors were dented or looked like they had been repeatedly patched. We fixed everything, painted and after laying the parquet, we put it in place of wall panels, bumpers or spring material. The magnets are strong enough to hold the door open and prevent the doors from opening too far and hitting our new walls. Both the vacuum and the Roomba have no problem with this and they seem to stick well so they won't come loose anytime soon. A

I use it on my 180 degree swing door to hold it open (not much to catch it before it hits the wall, more to keep them from swinging all the way back). I think the hallway floor is higher on the outside because of the carpet and lower on the inside because it's the original wood floors. That means my undercut is 3/4 to 1 inch.
