I often stream videos on my iPad in bed and sometimes fall asleep with headphones on, so I'm always on the lookout for cheap, lightweight headphones as they tend to be short-lived. Of course, I wasn't expecting great sound for under $5, but they don't deliver any bass at all, and I mean absolutely zero frequencies below 120Hz or so. For me it's a deal killer even when watching movies or TV shows, so I'd only find them useful for voice applications like audiobooks (and even there you lose some vocal resonance, especially for male narrators). For a few euros more, the Panasonic RP-HT21 cell phones sound much better and are also more comfortable to wear.
