OXO has been making pretty good kitchenware for a long time, not glamorous, just pretty, well built and functional. But these pliers are a little missing. The perforated side has no inner support, only silicone material. Difficult to reach the pot or pan and grab something. You must put the hard side under the item you receive or you risk overhanging and losing the perforated side. A way of hitting a target to have a perforated side when you need to dial it with a closed side that has the power to lift an object. You can make it work, it's just not a handy kitchen tool. The silicone at the ends is thick, not easy to wear. They are well built, just not very well designed.
