Exactly what I was hoping for my 2011 Honda Odyssey Van. In the last 5-7,000 miles or so I've noticed significant shaking under braking, especially at 30-45 mph. To fix this feeling it's common to replace the rotors (because one of them is deformed) but a colleague mentioned that he had a similar feeling on his car and it ended up being a bad tie rod. Given the age of my brake, the cost and the ease of interchangeability. I decided to try them out before getting serious about my tie rods - and I'm glad I did. I was surprised to see that my pads were only about 40% worn (after 45,000 miles) but after turning everything around I didn't notice the tremor anymore. Problem solved.
