We bought this tablet to replace an old iPad that was no longer up to date. We didn't want to pay for something expensive for 4 years so we chose this one. I didn't like the built-in kids software, I just added my kid's Google account and enabled Google's Family Link to manage it that way. The microphone stopped working, I called support, they offered to reinstall the app I was using. I just went through the permissions and toggled the mic on and off and that fixed it. I've read reviews that it's slow, if you want something fast buy a high-end tablet. I think for the price we paid it's great for what we need. It's also nice to note that you can have profiles for those who want to share them with someone.
