We bought them for our bike and I asked my wife to read the instructions while I did the job. The left side was very light. I applied glue and it stuck immediately. Well, as for the gas pedal, it's a different story. My wife never told me to trim and file the combs. I smeared the glue on and started applying it over and over again until the black rubber came out of the metal mold. stick.everywhere! I was finally able to take it off and she read the instructions to me again and that's when we realized we were putting them on the wrong way round. We filed the plastic and did some test runs to make sure they fit. No glue this time. When I managed to get them fully on, we took them off for the last time, added glue and glued them on for the last time. Everything else won't work, read the instructions yourself and follow them as directed. I wasn't able to remove all of the adhesive from the outside of the grips but they work great and I really like how they let my hands breathe. Eventually I'll have to take them off and order a new set to install as I can't stand the glue. Otherwise I love her.
