Great grips for Honda VTX 1800C

The grips were delivered quickly and after delivery it only took about 20 minutes to fit. Cut off the old grips with a razor, then clean the plastic of the handlebars and throttle body with brake cleaner to prepare them for glue application. Here I recommend Glue Spray 90. It remains soluble long enough to attach the handles and position them in the desired place. I used a rag to protect the bike from overspray and sprayed the handlebars and throttle body plastic around the perimeter, spraying…

Looks great; Not happy with the fit and feel

I had high hopes for these grips but it's taking time to get used to the feel of my fingertips landing in the indentations between the rubber sections. The installation took a few tries. I balked at the adhesive that came with it as it warned against setting too quickly and watched a few YouTube videos. I ended up using 3M Hi Strength 90. Advantages: - Really, very, very comfortable - Increases the diameter of the handlebars and eliminates the claws that appear after long rides - Absorbs a lot of vibrations from the handlebars - Makes it easier to attach high-quality patented attachments to non-hollow (and hollow) identical handlebars…

They are really beautiful and well made

We bought them for our bike and I asked my wife to read the instructions while I did the job. The left side was very light. I applied glue and it stuck immediately. Well, as for the gas pedal, it's a different story. My wife never told me to trim and file the combs. I smeared the glue on and started applying it over and over again until the black rubber came out of the metal mold. stick.everywhere! I was finally able to take it off and she read the instructions to me again and that's when we…
