Before buying this lens, I read all the reviews, looked at all the reviews, 90% of people are simply delighted with it. A lot of people were talking about some kind of super-sharpness that I was looking for a long time after 18-55. But in fact, everything was not so happy. Those who have always used a lens with a stabilizer, like me, will have to get used to and adapt for a long time in order not to get blurry in the evening or indoors. The shutter speed should be at least 1/160 at 70mm, and preferably 1/200, but the ISO is already high there. But the biggest disappointment was the rough autofocus misses. Approximately 3 out of 10 photos with a gross miss and 4-5 out of 10 with a not quite accurate focus hit, and this is in bright, sunny weather. On my past 700d with a whale 18-55stm, there was not so much marriage, and when you realize how much money you paid off for the mark iv + 24-70 2.8 bundle, it becomes uncomfortable. I handed it over to the service twice, the first visit was associated with a 24mm back focus, they decided by programmatic autofocus settings. The second time I applied already about misses, but unfortunately, as the master said, this is an acceptable norm and is not treated. I’ll just give one piece of advice, before you buy such a lens, be sure to rent it, I’m sure it simply won’t suit many, it’s very specific, and the reviews in my case played a cruel joke. Indoors, the flash saves me, there is no marriage with it, but on the street I lose a lot of cool shots.
