Many of the items included in this drawing set are quite inexpensive, especially crayons and markers. When I received the set in the mail and looked at the picture on the cover, I realized I had made a mistake. The paints that come with this kit are not that different from the paints we buy for my daughter at the dollar store. The crayons are small and nothing special. Remember that there are 120 parts to an eraser, a paper clip (really? a plastic paper clip!) and a sharpener. I haven't tried oil pastels yet, but definitely haven't. It's not worth playing with just oil pastels. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this set. When you buy art a la carte from an arts and crafts store, you get a much higher quality product.
