I received the package and noticed that the clear plastic cover was no longer fully adhered to the paper backing. I didn't pay much attention to it as it could just be a shipping accident or something. However, after using the toothbrush for the first time, I noticed that the bristles are hard and scratch and cut the gums. I've been using the same brand and model (soft) for years but I didn't mind as I figured it was because it's just new. After a few days the bristles are still not softened and the gums are still irritated so I bought a new set of CVS toothbrushes of the same model. Also soft. But I can tell the difference in bristle stiffness, the one I bought here is definitely medium or hard! It was only then that I realized the package had been tampered with all along!
