The adapter actually works well. He has good range, doesn't drop orders. The app you have to use to control it is very limited though, it can be difficult to find a remote setting with all the buttons you need, especially for menu navigation. There's also no way to mimic a keyboard remote. So if you signed in with your remote or used your TV's smart features, you can say goodbye to that functionality until you get another remote/adapter.
