Review on Bialetti 1-Cup Moka Pot: Authentic Aluminum Silver Espresso Maker by Joshua Cameron

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's not just mocha.

.this is the history of Italian coffee! Background: I am a 50 year old Italian man living in the USA; My family, my grandmother, have always used a Moka machine for as long as I can remember. Bialetti isn't just a Moka machine, it's the story of Moka; I still have my grandmother's moka at home, it's probably over 60 years old (I don't know how old it is because I was born later than when it was bought) and it still works great! not only that, you can still find all the spare parts, gaskets, plates etc and nothing has ever been changed. if you're talking about mocha, you should say Bialetti. Anyone who grew up in Italy will probably remember the TV commercial featuring the song. prodotto Bialetti!. :):):)Then I would like to make my personal suggestions about this Moka machine and based on my experiences I will give a few short recommendations on how to get closer to the world of Moka and get the most out of it: 1 ) Moka Bialetti - es is made of aluminium, always has been and only will be. 2) Moka is the tool that makes good coffee Moka is water and coffee powder. 3) The Moka machine must NOT be washed in the dishwasher! DO NOT wash with soap or detergent. All you have to do is give it a quick rinse under warm water and that's it. 5) When you use it for the first time, brew coffee, throw it away and do it again. The coffee maker needs to keep the flavor of the coffee inside, so the more you use it, the better the moka makes coffee. 6) do not overtighten the cover; The seal does not require too much pressure and can last longer. 7) If you are alone, don't buy a 6 cup moka, only buy the size you need. Moka coffee should be prepared and drunk while it is still hot. This is not American coffee! 8) Let the temperature drop by itself after use, do not wash while it is still hot. I hope these few tips will help you better understand what moka coffee means; It's not just coffee, it's a tradition, a lifestyle, something that probably can't be put into words. I remember my grandma coming to the table and asking which of us wanted coffee so we could use the correct moka and ended up putting the glasses on the table all together and pouring the coffee little by little to give it a go all to distribute. the same number of us. It's been happening all day, by the end of dinner, for years, decades. E adesso buona moka a tutti!6)
