This little device is a marvel! Easy to follow instructions and so easy to use! I recently bought a new sewing machine that used a slightly different bobbin size than my old one. Transferring the thread from my old spools to the new size was completed in a fraction of the time it would take me to thread a sewing machine. The Dritz Bobbin Winder is well designed. In my opinion, you get more for your money because you can even use larger spools of thread. After the work is done, the spindles fold in and can be neatly stowed away. A friend of mine recently bought a different brand of bobbin winder, all plastic. I wasn't impressed with the flimsy design. This sturdy little coil winder does the job!
