Simple, reliable and very strong (steel) with many mounting options. The instructions on how to use the secure license plate brackets could have been clearer, but after digging into it, I was able to verify that the license plate and bracket were of a type that gave thieves quite a bit of time to remove both. Love the lip by three sides. It would stick to your license plate if not unscrewed. It prevents thieves from getting under the sides of the license plate. The holder prevents your pelvis from bending if it gets caught on something. The holder is large enough for a standard US license plate and the holes match. It can be used in the front or the back. I use it on the back of my van on the stairs. Additional drilling facilitated the assembly and mounting of the license plate light. I spent too much time sifting through products that were plastic, huge, tiny, cost a fortune, or had no mounting options. I couldn't be happier with this product.
