Received this disc and installed it in one go. Worked fine for a little over a month and then it no longer showed up in my disk list but showed up as unallocated and uninitialized in disk manager. I thought it was a bad drive but wanted to see if WD had any suggestions before just sending it back for a replacement. I know bad drives are rare and I've had WD drives that still work for years. It happens. Bad luck, but it happens. Unfortunately, I have no proof that anyone actually works in WD Support. I tried their live chat feature several times, I was assured I would get a response in 2 minutes and after 30-40 minutes my chat status just changed to 'cancelled'. I tried their email support, struggled to dig up the serial number, firmware version, everything, and in what I can only describe as a piece of postmodern art, the submit button on the website worked Not. .Called Amazon and they couldn't reach anyone from WD either. Here's the replacement.
