This was perfect for practicing hair on! I'm no professional or even apprentice of any sort, I just wanted to learn how to do different styles and practice my braiding. The hair is kind of thinner, but so is mine, so that doesn't bother me. I bought a stand for it and that was the best decision to go along with this. I can't imagine practicing without the stand. I would buy again.
