In the past I have bought, used and loved Vasya ribbon, mainly for handmade greeting cards, but I have never used lace. Solid washi tape is much thicker than these laces. In the photos I took, the far left shows how the ribbon goes - it has a cellophane backing. You remove a thin ribbon of lace that sticks to the back and attach it to your surface. The ribbon is delicate but very pretty. The following photo shows 2 other colors. It was dark when I took the picture and there was no lamp on the table. In fact, they shine beautifully. In the last 2 pictures I give examples of how I used them on my cards. Seems to stick well. I will buy this again. Hope that helps.
