I grabbed this bar to add more Memory to a laptop with 4 GB installed (the existing bar has similar characteristics, manufacturer Micron). The outcome was really pleasing: everything now moves quickly compared to how slowly the computer was previously. The one small detail that made purchasing awkward and a bit alarming was the fact that the bar itself had DDR3 instead of DDR3L written on it. However, given that DDR3L is simply DDR3 with a 1.35 V operating voltage lower than that of DDR3, and because the voltage value is likewise shown on the bar, I decided that there shouldn't be any issues. And that's what occurred. I was informed that the guarantee would last for 10 years when I made my purchase in-store.
