It messed up my video files

It messed up my video files. I formatted it at least 5 times and re-inserted some files. After correctly extracting and reinserting into the USB port, it always corrupted my AVI files (which were fine on my desktop) and occasionally my image files. I do not recommend this for video storage at all. You can see in the screenshot only 1 video file is long but all are realistic file sizes (The data for these files are old because they are old video files which I am trying to back up but the screenshot is 100% from an the day I checked.)
