I bought this and was thrilled when I received it because it feels thick and strong and looks like a quality cable. I bought it to extend the cable on my Wavlink USB hub. I wanted it to charge my laptop and also transfer data. For the most part, everything seemed to be going well based on product details and reviews. I've seen a few warnings but they seem to be mostly related to 4k resolution on dual monitors. I'm fine with 1080p so thought I'd be fine. When I opened it I was amazed because it seems thick and sturdy. Feels like quality. The first day I plugged it in, it worked fine for a few minutes, then stopped charging and recognized the memory card reader in my USB-C hub. So I swapped the cable as per the instructions and reviews . It worked and worked for the next two days with no problems. The only minor issue I found was that when my computer went to sleep and I woke it up, it didn't recognize that the cable was still connected. I had to unplug and plug it back in for the computer to recognize the cable and start charging/connecting to my monitor. I'm not very picky so thought I'd find out, even if it's not perfect. Finally, today, after about two and a half days, the computer no longer recognized the cable. I just tried twisting it both ways on all ends to get it working to no avail. Attempts to restart and shut down the computer. Still no luck. Will return. It seems difficult to find a good 90 degree USB cable.
