Works great with 1-1/4 " handle
Mounted on garage wall to hold snow shovel in place when end of shovel is on garage floor. The handle is 1-1/4" in diameter and holds securely in place. Might even work with a 1-3/8" grip, but probably not with a larger diameter grip.
