Review on Pulp Riot Lilac Semi-Permanent Hair Color 4oz: Long-Lasting Vibrant Hue for Hair by Kim Maldonado

I've been using the Purple Riot colors for a few months now and overall I really like them. Of course, they don't last as long as regular hair dye, but I like being able to wash them off and change color. After the initial salon bleaching, my boyfriend did the coloring for me at home and I generally like how it turned out. PRO TIP 1: Use more than one shade when you have darker routes. Here I used lilac and elixir. More than one shade gives it more depth and the gradient makes it more interesting. The only exception for me so far was Candy, who I loved alone. PRO TIP 2: If you want the color to last longer, wash your hair with really cold water. Not warm, cold. Now I just wash it in the sink or under the bathroom faucet and then take a really warm shower. There is practically no loss of color. On the other hand, if you want to wash the color off quickly before changing to another color, just wash it a few times in very warm water.
