addendum: Has been working perfectly for almost 3 years. I highly recommend this if your ISP is compatible with this device and they don't plan to increase the max speed in your area to over 100Mbps. --- I ordered this for my mother to replace her old cable modem (circa 2006) which was a Motorola Surfboard and only supported 20Mbps. She upgraded her internet to 100Mbps and it works fine. It didn't require regular reboots, and it didn't crash often. In general, it's happy with the higher speeds as it now has 5x more bandwidth than before.---
