They work great. I've had several instances of cables failing when plugged into the connector, so the fact that they built in a strain relief made me give it a try. I will update when they go out of service soon. One minor issue is that the connector on the side of the iPhone is a bit chunky. Fits in my wife's bag and my phone. But I could see how it might not work in some other cases. If I had such a situation, I would just shave off the head of the fork a bit with a knife.
