Cube lights are not very bright. Cube lanterns are poorly constructed and made of cheap plastic. I broke 2 trying to tighten them and to be honest I only tightened them 1/4 turn past the loose one. I then contacted the company to get new mounts which they sent quickly but they sent the wrong ones and now they are arguing with me about it which is very frustrating. All mounts disappoint in their design. First you need to attach the bracket, then attach the lights to the bracket. Precise lateral adjustment is not possible with vehicle mounts. When the light is pointing exactly 90 degrees forward, the adjustment screws are in their lowest position and the turnbuckle is difficult to access. It's possible, but you have to be very, very careful not to damage the cheap plastic. The 20" light bar is quite bright for the price. I'm sure it could be brighter for its size. I bought two 7" light bulbs from another company which seem to be as bright as a 20- inch bars. The cube lights aren't very bright for an automated application, but they would be excellent for an ATV, snow plow, or similar application. Overall, I can say that they look pretty attractive, but I'm not sure I would rate this one Will use package again. Please note my photos only have the 20" rod installed. I'm still waiting to swap out the cube mounts so I can place them somewhere else.
