This was a great purchase for me as I needed a quality, durable fan for my garage that could move a lot of air and still have a relatively small footprint and not easy to close to serve is to fall. that this fan fulfills all wishes/requirements more than satisfactorily. At the same time, the fan also cuts a fine figure in the house due to its size, attractive appearance and functionality. The only problem with indoor use is that at the highest of the 3 speeds it's not the quietest for talking or watching TV, but when it's not running at high speed it's fine and still moves a lot of air and if you're using the Placing fans some distance away (which you would probably do at top speed anyway) is not a problem for me. If I only had 1 multipurpose fan in the home this would definitely be my choice!
