I use JB Weld products to repair almost all of the equipment we rent. I loved JB Weld until I used this product. This product was a big disappointment. It is difficult to mix and does not adhere well to steel. It's very clumpy so it doesn't spread evenly or smoothly. We wired the large muffler to bare metal. The paste wouldn't stick and when we applied it to the through holes it just fell out on the other side. We used Permatex 80333 Muffler & Tailpipe Putty for the same muffler. Permatex spreads like mayonnaise and adheres wonderfully. Large holes can also be sealed in combination with Permatex Muffler & Tailpipe Tape. A limitation. Pasta JB Weld is over a year old. It is possible that it has a limited shelf life. At the same time, Permatex Putty was purchased.
