Review on Get Cleaner & Healthier Water with GRECH CBG-800 5W UV Sterilizer Hang-On Back Filter for 20-50 gallon/211 GPH – Black by Kari Sather

Quieter than my old Biowheel filter that needed new filters every week. No splashing, it has a cool sump/skimmer that picks up floating debris like leaves, an adjustable water intake I can lower almost to the bottom of my tank, and filter media replacements are a lot cheaper. My fish like the increased water flow (which can be adjusted) and it was very easy to assemble and set up. I already like it! EDIT: March 2021: Well it took 4 years to get too noisy and the UV light died. I know you can only replace the UV filter, but I really wanted a brand new filter. Because of the noise, I tried a dive filter this time. only lasted a few months before I got fed up with the poor water flow, poor filter quality and the fact that the suction cups were becoming detached. Finally gave up and got another one of those GRECH pendants. I was very disappointed with the delivery, it only came in the original box with a shipping label and they didn't even seal the lid. I was fully expecting it to break so hopefully nothing will happen but for now it's working great and I've forgotten how quiet they are at first. So it's a great filter, but in my experience you only get about 4 years. As another reviewer said, use your own filter material but otherwise this is my favorite filter!
