Review on Swimline 91451 Waterproof Playing Cards by John Banks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Floats well but was designed by someone who doesn't play backgammon.

The board floats beautifully in the pool. It has chess checkers and backgammon. It looks well made and sturdy. We bought a backgammon board. There are a few things we dislike about playing backgammon. 1. Although the stones fit snugly on the board, they are too big for the spots they stand on during gameplay. The launch is going well, but as far as development goes, we can't put the bricks where they should be. 2. The triangles that make up the playing field are correct on one side only. You have to take turns in reverse on the other side of the game. 3. There are only two bones, so they must be passed to the opponent. They swim well when they go off the board. Dots of different sizes and washed off. 5. There must be a cup for each set of dice. Thought of returning it as it wasn't cheap and we don't play chess or checkers. Dice. We live in Florida year round and enjoy playing backgammon in the pool.
