I bought this backpack hoping it would match my skates. I wanted a backpack to throw my shoes in and wear while skating, as well as something to throw my skates in after I put them on. This is why mesh is amazing because it allows everything to be ventilated! I don't even have to worry about them after wearing them for a few days fearing they might stink in a regular duffel bag. This bag far exceeded my expectations in terms of capacity and quality! I can fit my adult size skates and all the padding in it. (As you can see, there's still plenty of room on top for knee pads, elbows, and wrists.) The extra-large top opening is great for convenient folding and quick takeout. Someone mentioned that there is extra support and thickness at the bottom and it's not mesh. The skates are heavy, so I asked myself this question before buying them. The straps have some padding which makes it comfortable to carry everything I need inside for long trips. It's very pretty and fun and great for my purposes! I love it for functionality and design. A great product that I just couldn't help but write a review about!
