What it loses in price it makes up for in performance.

So when I got it it was about $160 which might make it a bit more expensive than you would expect from an economy helmet. I spent another $10 on a built-in action camera mount (sold separately) and got a new mount for my intercom to try on a helmet. So first for the good. I have an odd shaped head and my chin sticks out at the bottom of most helmets. I'm comfortable with this helmet and have pretty good coverage. There are a few vents that actually go somewhere and do something. The sun visor is attached with thumbscrews and can be easily removed if you want to spice up the look of the helmet. The optional accessory for mounting your action camera replaces the specially shaped sleeve that attaches through the top middle thumbscrew and provides friction to hold the angle of the adjustable sight. The chin strap is held in place by a quick release buckle and feels pretty solid. And when I attached the intercom to the helmet, there was already a velcro loop in the ear pockets so I could clip the headphones on without trying to find the best fit. There are also pre-cut grooves in the EPS that you can route the intercom wiring through. This is a feature that my expensive helmets don't have. On the list of cons is the detachable chin bar which is quite snug against the face, the attachment is spring loaded plastic clips which I fear will break in cold weather and for the price of a helmet the chin bar is not designed to withstand the to withstand shock loads. While the helmet goes very well with the goggles, it would only be without the chin bar because you can't fit them in the small eye pocket. Tap the lower limit of what you expect to get a higher security certification. I was expecting it to have something to do with the removable chin bar, but I'm no expert on that. The helmet looks cheap. The feel really doesn't affect safety. But if that's what you're looking for, you might consider hardware. I'm also a bit picky about my shields, so I rode with goggles and didn't really use the helmet's built-in sun visor, so I can't give a firm opinion on that. Overall the helmet suits my lifestyle and I feel really safe wearing it. It is easy to put on and take off with gloves on. And it looks like a compact package. I will continue to ride with this helmet and will let you know if anything changes while I wear the helmet. If you think that while this helmet is a bit pricey, the cost for the features you get with it isn't outrageous.
