I like the sound quality. That's actually very good. The Dragon software is just terrible. He makes up words even after you practice him. Much of his output was complete gibberish. It got worse when I installed an older version of Microsoft Visual Studio, version 6.0. I needed to test a program I had developed many years ago. It caused Dragon to crash stating that it was incompatible with the installed version of pdm.dll. The "solution" was to rename this DLL so the dragon can't find it. Of course, this also caused Visual Stupido to crash. This is an incorrect fix. If you know that your program needs specific versions of a particular DLL, copy or statically link that DLL to a local directory of your application. This is a purely amateur lesson, just from that point of view! I bought this thing because they said it could do transcriptions. I can not. I feel like this product is a complete rip off from Philips. Don't buy this. From this point on, I distrust the Philips product very much.
