I've had a Sharp shooter for a long time, but I've never taken the time to calibrate it and learn how to use it properly. I finally decided to play Kill Zone 3 which is compatible with it. Phew, I missed it. KZ3 is still a great game and Sharp Shooter takes it to the next level. At $20 it's a steal. Sharp Shooter is well made and not cheap. It's made of plastic, but feels comfortable. The key layout is well thought out and takes some getting used to. It can be said that they experimented until they got the desired result. The motion and nav controllers fit very well and snap into place. Adjustable shaft is good. It also has a pump built into the front handle. It takes a bit of calibrating the Move controller to get in the right spot, but that doesn't have much to do with the Sharp Shooter itself. Basically you are trying to match the reticle to the scope. There are many resources online to help you get it right. Now the fun part! As I said, Sharp Shooter takes gameplay to a new level. Pulling the trigger feels more natural than pushing a button on the Dualshock. To perform a melee attack, push Marksman forward. Almost everything is within reach of your fingertips. It can be tedious to hold that thing for a while but it only adds to the realism. I'm sure an assault rifle can get heavy very quickly in real combat. I believe this is the closest in FPS to the experience you can get. You can't sit while playing and feel the same way. If you want to sit down, you can use the Dualshock. I actually used a 2x2 single knee pad which worked well and looked natural. A good alternative to constant standing when tired. The only thing I have is that while using this peripheral you can get disoriented from time to time because wherever you turn the barrel you will look or turn. If you point it at the ground, you see the ground. It would be nice if they added some sort of target abort, which usually lets you look around with a navigation controller instead of a gun. I have based on my experience with KZ3, however there are a number of games that can be used with the Sharp. Shooter games like Resistance 3, Socom 4, Dead Space Extraction, and Resident Evil 5. Bottom line: if you want a fun experience that adds a sense of realism and you want to get the most out of your Move system, buy this . For $20 you can't go wrong. I paid $32 in a sale about six months ago and I think it was worth it. Shooter games like Resistance 3, Socom 4, Dead Space Extraction, and Resident Evil 5.
