We use these lamps in our basement bedroom. It gets very dark at night and we wanted something that would give the room a faint, warm glow. We wanted string lights LEDs as they are long lasting and we also wanted something that uses an outlet instead of a battery. They are perfect for our needs. The remote control is easy to use and if you play around enough you should be able to find the setting you want. It was a bit odd because we had to use the button on the light filament itself to find the setting we wanted and then change the brightness on the remote, but we figured it out. These lamps are constantly burning in our room and we haven't had a single burnout. You feel cool. We love them very much and will probably order more for our children's room.
