I don't like flashy and flashy things - I prefer things simple and almost invisible when it comes to organization and storage. These shelves are perfect in that sense. They're thick acrylic, not cheap plastic, so they'll last a long time. They come with screws and anchors but I just used some longer screws and made sure one side was screwed into the stud to make sure it stayed upright. I use them to store condiments so they don't get too heavy. The installation didn't take long with a spirit level and screwdriver and now I have a beautiful spice rack. I love that you can barely see the shelves, just the bottles. I recommend getting a shelf with an end piece on each side to keep your bottles from falling. They offer this as another option and it's very helpful. I've used shelves without and it's not fun when things fall off. I understand that open shelves are great for displaying books or artwork, but with small bottles you want them closed at the ends. In any case, I can only recommend these shelves. They're a bit more expensive, but they're definitely worth it because they look so simple and clean. Also, they are very strong.
