Review on Hamilton Beach Replacement Filter 04234G by Noe Miceli

*I have two small air purifiers. Both are in the basement, one by the liter box and the other at the foot of the stairs (which lead to the first floor). * Filters have always been the deciding factor in air purifiers. So I was pleasantly surprised to find them. They contain real charcoal, which is a huge plus for their ability to remove odors. the fact that the charcoal is evenly distributed is annoying). *Look at picture #3 - the one with my thumb - and you can see all the charcoal is under my thumb and none above it. (There is a black pre-filter on the front so that at least everything goes through). So you can see how the whole filter behaves like a "bag". To get around this design flaw, you just need to install the filter in a horizontal position. IE perpendicular to the wall (e.g. flat on a table, etc.). * This is the reason for the star deduction. Otherwise the price is reasonable and they work well. Hope that helps.
