Review on 🚴 Enhance Your Comfort with the Serfas Women's Element Reactive Gel Bicycle Saddle by Michael Liguori

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a pretty comfortable seat. Got it the first time.

Pretty comfortable seat. The first time I took it on a long ride I felt like I was on cloud nine (especially compared to my original seat). I've been using it for over 1 year now and normally ride 20+ miles 1-3 times a week. I'm about 7 1/2 months pregnant now and in the middle of a snowy winter so I don't ride my bike much now. The seat is durable and shows virtually no visible signs of wear after more than a year of use. It's definitely high quality. I will say that when I first started using the seat, it was slightly wider than my original road bike seat (Specialized Dolce women's bike). It took a bit of getting used to at first and was too wide to be comfortable, but now that I'm pregnant my hips have expanded a bit and what initially seemed a bit wide now feels perfect. If you have never had children and have a small figure, it may seem too big for you. Again, I'm still giving 5 stars because there wasn't enough discomfort to not be able to use the seat and now it fits perfectly, but consider your body type when purchasing. It's made of fabric and will get wet in rain/snow, although any cover will protect it from moisture. I just moved in but rode in this seat most of the time in the greater Seattle area where it rains a lot. I was able to lock my bike in the garage during the day so that it is protected when it is wet and can dry out relatively quickly. I'm sure it would have been a different case had it been exposed to the elements all day. My point, though, is that the seat seems to dry out relatively quickly once it's no longer exposed to rain, and haven't had any issues with mold/fungus, odors, or other wear and tear from getting wet.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
