As advertised. Seems to be 100% Felt. Price $100.The measured thickness is 1/2 inch as advertised.I purchased the same size pad last week at a home website whose name begins with Way.It was 3/8 inch NOT 1/2 inch like this one. This one is thicker.The only difference is the Way. pad had a rubber backing. This one does not.The Way. Price was $210.You would need to ask yourself if a rubber backing for a THINNER pad is worth an extra $100.In my case it's a non starter. My rug will have some furniture on it. It's not going anywhere!I recommend this pad.
