I've been using it for over a week now so I'm testing how it works best. You charge it and sync it with your phone. You hit the play button and he maps the room he's in. I especially liked that he cleaned my tile floor in the laundry room and the hardwood floors in the kitchen. The carpet I have is industrial, not shaggy, so laying rows wasn't a problem. It got caught on my baby pants on the floor, tree skirt and rug. I have used the mop function and it works as expected, cleans my floor. I moved the charger several times before finding it at home and had no problem finding the charger. Also, I was impressed that I could take him upstairs and leave him and he would clean up the room. Then take him to another room and he'll find his way around too. There's nothing quite like seeing those rows of vacuum cleaners on the carpet without lifting a finger.
