Many years ago my brother-in-law gave me these received in Europe. Years passed before they got here. They absorb moisture very quickly and store a lot of it. Since it feels like fabric, it can be squeezed almost to dryness if desired. Because it's flat and thin, it washes well with liquid soap, but I just throw it in the dishwasher. You also don't smell that fancy sponge smell. They are a cross between a sponge and a paper towel. You are quite unique. I've never had a single tear or hole in it so it will last forever. I only take them out for food stains. purely for looks. Be kind to the environment, throw away the paper towels and get rid of that moldy sponge. I promise you will never use anything else again.
