These shoes are a little spacious, I'm not sure if it's the size or the design of the shoes. I removed the original insole and put in my insoles, but I didn't like the way they felt (I don't like my insoles anyway), so I removed the insoles and put in a store-bought insole, then slipped the original insoles over it . With these settings, the fit is perfect. I have arthritis in my feet/toes and am having a hard time finding the right fit but I think with a little tweaking this shoe would work really well.
