Review on ๐Ÿ’จ Effortlessly Inflate with Portland Design Works Shiny Object CO2 Inflator Head by Kyle Ross

Solid track kit!

Perhaps one of the most important items in my kit. To be honest I've never carried a CO2 pump in the last seven years of mountain biking, I just carry a conventional pump which did a great job when I needed it. But after going tubeless last summer, I really realized some of the limitations of a good hand. After rolling a tire on a road trip and unlucky with my arm, I decided that CO2 blowers need to be explored when I came across Portland Design Works' Shiny Object CO2 blower. There are currently dozens of different CO2 blowers on the market at different prices, but what I can say about the Portland Design Works Shiny Object CO2 blower is that not only is it made in the United States, but it's also re-assembled . has a lifetime guarantee. So after having the opportunity to use the Portland Design Works Shiny Object CO2 blower, I switched to a CO2 blower and will never carry around a pump again! It's so small and light that it fits in a jersey pocket or disappears into a large Camelbak backpack. I never ride without one now, although I would suggest taking the large 20g CO2 cartridges just for some peace of mind as they don't weigh much more than the standard 12g cartridges, this is especially important , if you have a 650B, 29 or larger tires as 12 gram cartridges may not be enough to get the pressure you want.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
