. I wasn't expecting orthopedic sandals either. I got them through the main wardrobe and thank goodness I did. I have uncomfortable feet with narrow heels and medium toe width. I have a small bump on my left foot and none on my right foot. This was my first time trying closed toe sandals because I was tired of hurting my toes. Big mistake with this particular shoe. My bursitis didn't like closed toe sandals. The pressure hurt and my narrow heels had too much room and moved. I found a small arch support for flat feet. I didn't even try to walk far in it because it just didn't fit!
