So if you're ignorant like me, never leave an open coax plug in the house. I have a coax cable going to several WiFi extenders, but for years there have been two splitters with no cables attached to a pair of ports. When I installed these terminators, the WiFi strength increased and stabilized.
- Reduce signal loss and reflections caused by open ports. Improve the reception of other devices. Loss of signal can interfere with other digital devices, e.g. B. Noise and stuttering on other TVs. Also used to keep connectors clean and protect from dust and moisture.
