The product appears to be well made and I was able to use it with hot dogs and salad with no problems. The chickens were scared of it for about 3 days but now they love it. The sound of bells stimulates them. The only problem is the small screw and wing nut that hold the food in place. First, loosening and tightening screws is inconvenient, especially on cold days. In addition, the wine string itself is very small and therefore food can slip off. It would be better if they had a quick release buckle at the bottom. Another problem is that everything is mounted on top. You can't just pull out the skewer, take it inside to load up the treats, and then come back and attach it to a hanging chain.
