This is a beautiful, light and comfortable jacket suitable for most occasions. The jacket has side pockets with zips on each side and open pockets on the inside of the jacket. Along the neckline there is a hidden zippered hood, very compact and invisible during storage. There is a kind of mesh fabric in the armpits that helps ventilation. The sleeve lining has a hole to put your thumb through. A small downside is the lining on the sleeves. When you take off the jacket, the lining is pulled out all the time. It would be nice if this lining was sewn into the sleeve seams. In terms of fit, I usually wear between small and medium sizes. This jacket seemed tight to me. So unless you plan on layering under this jacket I would recommend going up a size. Odd note - my cat seems to like this jacket. She keeps licking it like it's made of catnip.
