A few issues with this heatsink. The box was undamaged but had regular stamps on it. The bodice was no longer stapled but held in place by two straps. When removing the radiator from the box for installation, it was clearly twisted, as can be seen in the photo. I'm assuming it's a delivery issue. However, the heat sink also seems to be an inch too high. It sinks entirely on rubber grommets, but sits an inch higher than the stock radiator and is too high for the radiator to mount. 1 star for fast shipping and 1 star for easy exchange. If the new one arrives undamaged and fits, I'll change it to 4 stars, otherwise I'll return it with a full refund and I'll buy a different manufacturer's radiator. UPDATE: 01/11/18 The replacement radiator arrived 4 days after the inquiry was posted, with one of those days being Sunday. I found it very reasonable. Like the previous box, this box had some scuffs and scratches from shipping but appeared to be in good condition. After the cooler was removed from the box, it was checked for flatness. The replacement heatsink had a slight bend, maybe 1/4" to 3/8" but MUCH less than the first heatsink which was 1" to 1.5". When I spoke to one of the Powerstoke technicians in my area, he said they noticed this problem with Mishimoto coolers. I recommend buyers to inspect the cooler they receive before bolting it on. I also looked at some online videos that Mishimoto needed to see where the top of their heatsink is in relation to the top heatsink mount. Please note that this heatsink is placed higher than the standard heatsink. With this heat sink, the series springs are at a significantly steeper angle than with the series heat sink. It doesn't seem to interfere with other elements like the fan shroud, so I can't say it's "too big". Slightly taller than the original, maybe 1/2 inch taller. I didn't measure, just estimated. In terms of quality and performance, it seems like a good item. Full TIG welding. to factory parts. The threaded plugs for the transmission lines were clean. Note that for earlier 2003-2004.5 you will need to remove the line adapters from the stock radiator and install them into the new radiator. Almost trashed the original radiator head before I noticed this little detail. The weather turned chilly, but after a few initial test drives, my truck seems to be running about 10* colder with the stock radiator than it was before one of the plastic end caps broke. . I am revising my rating to 4.5 stars. Excessive twisting in the first heatsink and then minor twisting in the second makes me think Mishimoto may need to take a look at their manufacturing process. In general, however, this is reliable information. and should provide many years of reliable service.
