When we recently remodeled our kitchen, I told my husband that I refuse to return the cheap plastic dish rack we've used for years for pots and other things that can't be washed in the dishwasher. I originally looked at sinks that had a drain tray that rested on the rim of the sink itself, but then I noticed this one that overlaps the sink and rests on the countertop. This proved to be safer and gave me a little more room to dry, plus I can use it as a countertop stand for my cookie cutters. The picture shows how small it is rolled up for storage, which I really appreciate. It lives under the sink until needed, making my kitchen look a lot tidier. It overlaps the sink by at least 2.5cm when I unfold it for use. The picture shows it with an 8 1/2" bowl on top. It flexes a bit, but it handles a Chantal pot and Pyrex measuring cups with no problem. Our water is quite acidic and tends to leave mineral deposits .on anything as it dries.The white marks just rub off right away making it easy for me to keep it like new.Love this dish dryer.
